"Cervinia and Zermatt snowboarding" 2013 Final edit to music
Good times in good places with good people! This years snowboarding trip to Cervinia and Zermatt was super awesome. It was my first time there and won't be my last. I say snowboarding trip, really only myself and buddy Jared were boarding together, with the girls mainly getting the guided tour and the rest of the group being skiers. Jared and I felt the urge to blaze our own trail, which was cool, but the girls were telling us great stories about where they had been taken and what they had been taught.... might tag along myself next time!! The skilift from Cervinia to Zermatt is a fairly straightforward operation, but when you get to Zermatt make sure you get your speed up cuz DAMN.... it flattens out BADLY before you get to another lift!! And also make the most of your time while you're over there, 'cause if the weather gets bad and they shut the Gondola back to Cervinia, you're in for a 40min ride on two T-bars to get back over the mountain... and DON'T fall off!!... there's no riding back down to catch the T-bar again, that sucker will shoot up 30 feet into the air, leaving you with around a 2hr hike through the snow to get home. Or £80 for a taxi from Zermatt to Cervinia. All adds to the excitement though... when is snowboarding EVER not awesome?!? :)
