Alessandro Fattori vince la libera di Val d'Isere davanti a Ghedina e Fischnaller

Italian speed specialists had a big moment of glory in the downhill World Cup race in Val d'Isere, France in 2000/01 season. For the second time in alpine skiing history they achieved triple downhill victory (first time in 1988 in Leukerbad). Race was won by Alessando Fattori (bib 25) ahead of Kristian Ghedina (bib 12) but the big upset was Roland Fischnaller with bib 47 who blasted down the course to came 3rd.
